A Quick Way to manage Outlook email signatures

I found the error for some reasons I have replaced version 7.0 sign.exe with the old version 5.0.. Ups!

Hi Jesper

I have already added some tables in our SQL base.!

But I am wondering why some of our users get a version 5.0 error and others work fine. All of them runs the sign.exe from the same domain controller.

Hi,

For some time a go we upgraded Cockpit to version 7.0.4 and changed licens. It worked out fine. But now we get a lot of errors in Cockpit saying: "1. You need a new key for eMailsignature version 5" and our users cant get the signature?

Do anyone have any idea what to do?

eMailSignature manages both Outlook and Outlook Web Access (OWA) email signatures.

The management of Outlook email signatures works independent of your mail server. You can use Exchange 2010 or any other mail server.

The management of OWA signatures requires Exchange 2010, 2007 or 2003.
We are presently Beta testing OWA/Exchange 2010 and expect release in a couple of month.

If you use eMailSignature to manage Outlook clients, you can upgrade your Exchange Server without any problems.

I am on RSS and e-mail notification but most of the stuff is tech support and don't have time to read every day. So I may have missed reading upgrade notifications. And the problem is, figuring out where to download the current version from. Anyway, I now have 7.0.4 from your link and that seems to have fixed my database issue.

I just upgraded from 7.0.2 to 7.0.4 and looks like it fixed the database problem:

Checking database consistency.
Database: Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Program Files\eMailSignature\settings.mdb

If any 'invalid column names' are reported here, you will need to create that column in
the table. The reason for the column to missing is that the database has not been upgraded
