I think that was the problem, that they had not logged on. I asked them to log on and now 4 of the 5 failed users are working. I think the 5th one has not logged on to OWA yet.

This might very well be related to the fact that these users have not logged on to OWA at all. The users must have logged on to OWA at least once before being able to write the signature.

The file versions are fine.

I don't know if they use OWA. Will have to check with them. The version is what I just recently downloaded from the link Jesper sent me on 2/9/10. The version of both is 7.0.0.0. If there is something more recent, send me a link and I'll download it (I can't receive a zip file unless you password protect it).

This random error is a mystery for us here. We have seen it a few times before, but we do not have a solution for it. We believe this is related to a strange Exchange behaviour.

Can these users log on at all to OWA? Which version of the dll and exe do you run?

SignOWA not deploying signatures to all users

I ran signowa at the command prompt to deploy signatures to all users after deployment to a test group was successful (so I cleared all the user names in the Test window). On 5 of the 55 users, instead of receiving the response: HTTP/1.1 200 OK, I received the response: "<a:href> not found." What does that mean and how do I fix it? When I looked at those users in the Cockpit, their signatures were successfully deployed there. So why are they not deploying successfully for OWA?

I guess I was assuming that signOWA should be run on the Exchange Server, which is obviously wrong. I have now got it set up on a 32-bit Windows Server and just got it working successfully at the command prompt.

BTW, there is an error in the manual on page 11. In item #2 at the bottom for setting up Exchange 2007, there should not be a space between "Add" and "-adpermission".
